New Diamond Bus Website and Mobile App Coming Soon! 

We have been working on some exciting changes to the Diamond Bus Website and Mobile App.

In the next few weeks we will be launching our brand new Diamond Bus Website and Mobile App.

We have been working on some exciting new features which will be of great benefit to passengers.

Track your bus...

Earlier this year we installed brand new ticket machines on all our buses, which included the latest in GPS technology.

This means, that through our new website and app, we will now be able to offer passengers access to Real Time Information (RTI) through our Bus Tracker feature.

Bus Tracker, enables you to locate the bus that you wish to catch and check how close the bus is to you and if its on time.

Plan your Journey...
Our new Journey Planner, advises you on the best Diamond services to catch to your required destination, it will even show you how to get to the bus stop to catch your service. You can plan your journey online through the website or while you are on the move in the mobile app.

Next Stop Announcements...
If you are traveling on a service you haven’t used before or in an area that you don’t know well, it can be difficult to know when its the right time to get off the bus.

With our new Next Stop Announcements feature in the mobile app you can set notifications for the next bus stop on your bus route. It’s also a great tool, if you have visual impairments or disabilities, as you can choose how far in advance you are notified of your stop and set audible alerts to notify you too.

New style tickets and passes...
Our app and online tickets and passes will be changing too. With a new improved customer log-in area, you will be able to manage tickets and your account much more easily. Our new app tickets will have a QR Code, which will scan on the ticket machine to check your ticket is valid and record your journey. 

A new security feature means app tickets will now feature a photo of the pass holder too, this enables you to transfer your ticket onto a different phone if you change your handset, but you can still be sure that your ticket can only ever be used by you.

If you are an existing app or online customer you should have recently received an email from us telling you more about the changes to passes.

We are looking forward to launching our new site later this Autumn. The additional features we have developed will give passengers more accurate service information and enable you to plan your journey with us much more effectively.
